Flag Rededication Ceremony to Honor the McKeesport 23

On June 14, 2025, Flag Day, the McKeesport Regional History & Heritage Center held a Flag Rededication Ceremony to honor the McKeesport 23 — brave members of our community who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to their country. The program also provided an overview of the American flag, its traditions, and proper care.

As we raised the flag in their memory, we recognized their courage, their service, and the legacy they left here in McKeesport.

Flag Day is a chance to reflect on what it means to serve, to remember, and to carry their stories forward.
