We are dedicated to creating a space both online and in-person that is safe and accessible for everyone in our community. We offer a variety of accommodations for people with health conditions or impairments including:

  • Accessible parking is available in the surrounding parking lots
  • Center galleries are wheelchair accessible
  • Service animals are always welcome
  • Accessible restrooms are located both in the main lobby and off of the Boycott Room
  • Visitors are welcome to nurse anywhere they feel comfortable
  • Staff and volunteers are available to give tours and read our display information to those who may need assistance
  • Using colors on our web materials that are accessible
  • Using alt text on all of our website images
  • Selecting easy-to-read fonts in larger text sizes
  • Frequently reviewing our accessibility policies and standards to guarantee they are accurate and up to date

If you have any difficulty reading our website text or viewing images or if you have any questions or concerns regarding accessibility, please contact The McKeesport Regional History & Heritage Center at 412-678-1832 or email info@mckeesportheritage.org
