History comes alive once again at the McKeesport & Versailles Cemetery!
Join the McKeesport Regional History & Heritage Center for our 12th Annual Living History Tour and discover the fascinating stories of local people who made their mark on McKeesport, the Mon Valley, and beyond. The Living History Tour, hosted annually at the McKeesport and Versailles Cemetery, brings to life the stories of those buried in the cemetery. Through captivating scripts and performances, you’ll learn the stories of notable people laid to rest in the Cemetery. Our costumed performers will bring the past to life as you travel through the historic cemetery, stopping at graveside stations to meet some of the remarkable men and women who came before us.
LIVING HISTORY CEMETERY TOUR
Love the atmosphere of a cemetery tour? Bring your walking shoes and join us for a 1 to 1½-hour walking tour through the McKeesport & Versailles Cemetery.
Please keep in mind that portions of the cemetery are rocky, hilly, and uneven. A limited number of chairs will be available at some stations on a first-come, first-served basis, and some stations may be standing room only.
The tour is held rain or shine, so dress for the weather and bring an umbrella if needed.
ENCORE PERFORMANCE AT THE HERITAGE CENTER
Prefer a comfortable indoor seat? Join us for our Encore Performance at the McKeesport Regional History & Heritage Center, Thursday, October 8 at 6:30 PM where our performers will once again bring these fascinating local stories to life.
Seating for the Encore Performance is limited. Because of this, Encore Performance tickets are non-transferable. Parking is available in either lot beside the Heritage Center.

All ticket purchases are considered donations and are non-refundable. Cemetery tour tickets may be transferred between tour attendees. Encore Performance tickets cannot be transferred due to limited seating.
