Born and raised in Versailles Boro during the Great Depression, Marlene Butler’s father owned B&L Market and served on the local rationing board and as an air raid warden during World War II. Drawing on a lifetime of experience in Versailles, Marlene’s reflections on growing up offer an engaging and enlightening look at our community.
