Heritage Center Heroes: D&D Game Days

Hail, adventurer!
The wondrous world of Faerun is in danger and needs heroes to defend it! Rampaging dragons, destructive goblins, deceptive mimics, and more are terrorizing the people of this realm, and without your aid, everyone within it could perish. How will you answer their cries for help? Will you be a brave fighter who masters weapons and strategy to take the fight to your enemies? A wizard who can summon the elements? A bard who can strengthen your allies and demoralize those who would harm you? A shape-shifting druid who can turn into a powerful beast at will? These choices and more await the willing hero.
Welcome to Dungeons & Dragons! An iconic table-top roleplaying game, known for its use of dice to resolve situations amidst grand stories of adventure. But did you know that while fun, it also encourages collaboration, critical thinking, and the strengthening of math skills? Curious to learn more? Then join us at our first ever – Dungeons and Dragons Game Night at the Heritage Center.
Who is this event for? Ages 12+, both new and experienced players. Players under the age of 18 must have a parent/guardian present at all times.
What is the cost? Free!
Do I have to bring anything? If you have dice, minis, or a 5e Player’s Handbook, you’re welcome to bring them! If not, that’s okay too. We’ll have supplies and items to share to help you make the most of the game. We’ll also have some light refreshments.
How will we be playing? Players will be matched to a DM at a table in our Boycott Room. For those with a tablet or phone, you’re welcome to build a character on D&D Beyond for free to roll virtual dice or to keep a digital character sheet. No tech? No problem. We’ll have paper and pen character sheets and dice.
Can I bring a friend? Friends are definitely welcome to watch, but if they didn’t register, they won’t be able to play this time. Seats are limited so if you think your friend would want to play, be sure to register early to make sure they get a seat.
